Small world.
Grew up for awhile in Lexington while my Dad was stationed at Hanscom. He ended up retiring there to swap his blues for a tie and continued as a contractor on base for another close to 30 years. Of course most of that he was living in NH and driving down every day. My brother-in-law is a contractor now at Hanscom.
I wouldnt call living there incarcerated, but the human density and traffic caused me to leave New England a long while ago.

Why would anyone willingly go to Fort Drum? Just insanity. There is a reason you received orders to Drum and they don't offer the opportunity as a great step up in your career development.
