Before I start saying anything, my next door neighbor is Asian. My 2 house down neighbor is also an Asian. Few house down, we have middle eastern Asian.
My another neighbor is American, but I call him Dutch neighbor, because he talk like Dutch speaking English (US).

I'm of Dutch heritage, both grandfathers came to the USA in the 1800's. Family archives date back to 600 AD. I visited family in Holland recently. Some housed U.S. troops in the Battle of Arnhem.

My girlfriend and her family are Asian and work in a nail salon. She had heard about the attacks last week and was worried, but until I told her hadn't heard about it being more sex-related than racially targeted.
