You guys talk a lot of shit....

I DO know how to handle my firearm, you need to pay close attention that there are 2 shooters in this video and 2 specific styles of shooting. (Im the one with the camo hat.)

I use a mag hold because it allows for quicker mag changes and allows me to sink my left elbow into my torso for a more steady hold (try it)

I fell on my ass because I was sitting on my feet (try it) to make for a low to the ground video of weed trimming...

A lot of what was done in this video was strictly just for video sake and it wasn't a how to shoot tutorial, it was a view of the saiga 12 that has never been posted on youtube

The middle finger IS for speed only (not me) and he doesnt shoulder it on purpose because he also gets much fast fire rate this way (ask him)

After viewing in slow mo I can see that the galil style charge handle does attribute to stovepipes but this is only with wally world ammo.

Feel free to ask any questions, but there's no need to talk shit..

    Justin

btw 68charger look at your avitar and notice the mag grip...

This is going to get good

do we have a flame thrower "smilie"? I feel like that would work well in this situation.

Dude you made a cool video, cool song, cool slow mo. But you also fell on you @$$ while still shooting.... don't like comments don't put your stuff on youtube

No offense intended in any of my posts- I figured you were focused on the camera work, lighting, setup, etc...
I didn't catch that there were 2 shooters- I figured they were shot at different times, and there was a wardrobe change... but now that you mention it, one has a beard & glasses, lol- guess I was too focused on the guns to see that..
so the Saiga coming off the shoulder was almost a slo-mo detail of bump fire but he was holding the pistol grip...

I thought the video was awesome, it shows so many things that you don't see in real time- and most that do slow-mo videos don't focus on the right things to catch them... falling on your ass may not be tactical, but it made for a great shot...

I thought it a bit odd using a mag grip when you have a forward grip- my avatar is an AK pistol, there is no forward grip (besides the mag). I understand your logic- I'll give it a try, but learned shotgun on a pump- no vertical mag to grab..

I see that camera as a great training aid- I wonder how many bad habits would show up that we don't catch in real time... and as a diagnostic tool- you can see what's going on with the action when the cover is off.

I believe it was a Casio EX-F1 camera... they run about a grand +/-

This is how I was positioned when I fell.. Best picture I could find...

I dont mind rude comments when they are directed straight to me, but when I stumble across a forum where people are calling me a dumbass I get a little red. You would too!

None the less, no hard feelings just wanted to set the record straight and give you guys a direct line to the "Loser" that made the video.

The other guy in the video is an Avid paint baller so most of his technique is derived from that, I dont understand it and it doesnt work for me, but he can put many rounds very fast down range and hit was he is aiming at.

The Forward grip on my SBS is for other people (ie gf) and looks.., I dont use forward grips because I feel that Im reaching to far out to get to one, Esp. on an AK with rock and lock mags. without the forward grip on the s12 it is very hard to hold onto during fast mag dumps (unless you hold the mag in my case)

The camera definitely illustrates a lot of things that you cant see with the naked eye and I have noticed a few things that will help my shooting.

Yes the camera is a Cassio EX-F1

One of the Saiga's is a 19" "restored"
and the other is a Custom 10" SBS

You can pick up the s12 many places if you know an FFL like centerfiresystems, but then you'll need to "restore" it

It's called a Third World Squat. Everyone should practice doing it every day.
