    Why the hell isn't the National Guard there tonight? These goons are way out of hand.

    Because they’re “mostly peaceful protests”, and any allegations that protesters started the fires (which could have been lightening or spontaneous combustion) are racist and terroristic hate speech!

    I think its going to get ugly tonight and whenever the Chauvin judgement comes down, and not only in Portland. Its a powder keg!

    Of course, MSM will do full coverage and salt it up with Liberal tears. Gotta feel sorry for folks with homes and businesses down there.

    Is that rhetorical?

    Please don't take that as an attack. In a sane world the National Guard would be there. To answer your question, I think it has something to do with virtue signaling on the part of the political leadership and possibly the "issue" that not all the Guard personnel have been properly screened for racist/white supremist sympathies.

    I also feel for the people who have lost dreams/work/opportunities due to the riots.

    If we send a congressional delegation with "street fighter" Nancy leading the charge, I bet the National Guard (her personal bodyguards) will show, but only the vetted DC ones of course...

    Yeah, I might be there in a week from now......and I don't want to be.

    The reason is just, but I don't need to be exposed to ass hats burning shit down with nobody doing anything about it. Throwing shit at cops and looting doesn't sit very well with me.
