Lots of non compliance coming because you cross an imaginary line while minding your own business.

I really don't know where this will go. Am I right that counties can't blanket outlaw CCW, but they could prohibit it on public land, like parks? Make it so that you can't have it in a car on public school ground?

On an AWB, who knows where that will go- as they try to virtue signal as to who is most anti-gun. I see Boulder re-doing theirs, and then Denver or others going one worse to get worst banana award.

Crime and violence is going through the roof and the answer is to disarm the most law abiding people. Literally crazy.

In the TheDEnverChannel article I read, there was some kind of mention that you have to know you are breaking the local law??? So if I stop watching the news and dumb this bad habit of a website, I'm good to go?

What that means is that they will not press charges but they will likely hold on to your firearms in perpetuity in the name of safety. I think that’s how it has worked in Denver since they have had their law. Little to no people ever charged but a lot of people with confiscated firearms.

+1. Even when they have written e.g. "reasonably should have known" such as here, it will always be interpreted that you reasonably should have known.

If someone wants to see you successfully prosecuted (especially if they are a judge), there is no actual loophole.
