There's numerous issues, there was also donating to hillary campaign, hiring a seemingly woke admin person, etc etc. Had some excuses for some of it. And while no one is expecting to support idiot zip tie guy, theres a difference between not supporting Rittenhouse, vs when he went out of his way to say some shit months ago.

Thank you for cliff notes. For anyone not linking to the article it literally is a biography, full history of the guy, who he's talked to in his life, everybody he met as a kid, where he's taken dumps before, his favorite food, how his momma told him that ben franklin invented electricity, etc. You're not missing anything.

And in that, admitting to some of that on their platform would be brilliant, lol.

It does seem really stupid to do a NYT interview from a business perspective. Maybe the guy has an ego, and can't say no to a light? It doesn't make sense why they did it.

Neither are great for brcc, much of their sales came from people wanting to support their messaging.

This 100%... I had suggested the wife try it, but only because I wanted to support them. Won't be ordering it again.

Hasn't that trick been played long enough that people realize that just because someone is a veteran, it doesn't mean they have a business worth being supported by now?

I agree with Andy Stumpf from the Cleared Hot podcast on this point. Veteran? cool. Doesn't mean you should get preference for things like a job if you aren't worth it. If anything, it should raise the bar on performance expectation. To be honest, I served with a lot of shady characters. The known barracks thief/con man was a Loss Prevention guy for some major dept store last I knew. Go figure.

Yep...being a veteran in and of itself doesn't make one special. John Kerry and John McCain (among many others) are/were veterans and I wouldn't piss on either one if they were on fire.

^This. Their coffee is mediocre at best. People buy it solely because of the brand and it's marketing. They thought they were supporting like minded people.

The CEO was on the radio program that took Rush Limbaugh's old time slot today. I missed the actual interview, but apparently the CEO said the article was a hit piece. I'm going to try to find some way to listen to it...
