Who is he? I have never heard of him. I see he was Army, does training and sells books.
Why does he have hundreds of "machine guns" most of which are not identified?
What are the charges to lead to forfeiture?
Is he a dealer or a gunsmith? Someone fill in the blanks for me.
He's retired Delta force, now owns Vickers Tactical and was one of the founders of IDPA. He's also a prolific author of "gun books" (often his books are considered "the" book on whatever subject). He also consults with a lot of gun manufacturers (including having a lot of input on the HK416). He also invented the "Vickers Sling" which is one of the more popular AR slings out there.Originally Posted by eddiememphis
The rumors I'm hearing is that because he's busy dying of cancer, he's let his SOT lapse and that's why the guns on the list are only $1000 (because they're all post sample, and AFT is letting him keep his transferable stuff).
His collection is (well now was) considered one of the premier reference collections of machine guns and other interesting firearms.

I don't know, Mr ATF. Does he owe you some sort of explanation?
Obviously he owes me nothing.
I was asking questions about what may have caused this action by the ATF.
