I am an MWD in the oilfield. I run a sensor (called a tool) that gives ,e inclination and azimuth. I relay that data to my counter part, Directional Driller, and they slide (steer) the drill bit where we need to go. It is a cool job, only draw back is I dont have a schedule and I am there from the beginning of a directional well until the end of directinal work.
My wheels, most times the rig roads are a fun 4wheeling adventure.
Job sounds dangerous. And that truck is cool!!!
I haul self loading freight at FL410 or so.
I drive around the Denver metro area delivering car parts.
