Yep, started about 3pm, couldn't make any calls.

Downtown denver through castlerock. I've not tried today.

Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

A router probably decided to set itself on fire somewhere. We were notified, bit that's about it, at work.

I forgot that you're in that realm. Those make sense.

My Verizon was down most of yesterday starting mid day but seems to be back up and running now.

6 hour road trip to see your GF and she would be pissed if you didn't stop every few hours to feed a phone and stand in the cold to talk for a bit. Ugh

And pay-by-the-minute bag phones. Those were great. The weight of a rifle and the battery lasted 15 minutes or so while talking.

Yes, both my phone and my wife's were out yesterday. I contacted Verizon Tech Support (via chat) and they had me turn "airplane mode" off and back on and it seemed to work. It may be that this just happened to occur right as the system was coming back up. This was around 3:30 PM.
