would a GX Vice holster work for the match?

It would work fine. Not the fastest to draw from, but the lever should apply enough pressure to keep from loosing a loaded gun during movement provided the lever/retention is tight.

It may be wire to test running with it with a loaded mag, but unloaded to test.
