    I hunt with a suppressed .308, but mine is a budget Ruger American with a modestly priced 1" scope. The .308 was a compromise for me, simply because I couldn't get one in a long action. It's been working fine on pronghorn, deer, and elk for quite a while now though. Good luck out there.

    My muzzle loading Moose hunt starts soon. I finally purchased ON-X hunt over the weekend. Looking forward to having a few hours to get that set up and the maps moved to my phone. It's already been helpful though, I found that about half the swampy areas I'd marked on google earth are private land.

    Hahaha! I use a 308 to hunt with as well. A good choice for basically anything in CO.
