Default .22LR Rifle Matches in Colorado

I have decided to put away the pistols for a while a get my shooting fix somewhere else. My only problem is that I have no equipment for (nor money to buy any) long range tactical rifle matches.

However, I have always been curious about .22LR tactical and silhouette matches but I don't know of any ranges in the area that host this sort of competition.

Do you folks know of any ranges in Colorado (preferably near the Denver Metro area) that hosts this type of matches?

    Thanks,
    Cy

I think Charlie's steel matches have a place for .22s.

They shoot rimfire Silhouette at AGC. I used to shoot them there all the time.

I have a rifle (Anschutz 1827) you can use.

Thanks Hoser. I have a CZ 452 on the way that I was planing on using. It is certainly no Anschutz but I think it will do while I figure out if I like the silhouette competitions.

How far out do they usually shoot those competitions?

The farthest targets for small-bore silhouette matches is shot out to 100 meters (109 yds).

The one that I would love to shoot is a Rimfire Tactical Precision Match.

On these matches shooters engage targets out to 200 yds. That 's a really challenging distance for the good ol' .22LR.
