Won't have to ban the gun if there is a 2000% tax on them.

A similar tax on the ammo would curtail sales as well as a ten day waiting period. But first you must have a costly (in both time and money) individual federal ammo purchase license to get your mandated maximum ten rounds per month.
Sellers would not be exempt from federal oversight either. They need a license as well as special storage and liability insurance only available from the government.

These are just a couple of simple thing an idiot (me) thought up. Imagine the twisted schemes the anti-gun think tanks and PACs have come up with.

You forgot the required firearm seller liability insurance,
the required firearm buyer liability insurance,
    the required CCW liability insurance,
the required ammunition seller liability insurance
and the required ammunition buyer liability insurance.

    ...it's just common sense.

    Just another idiot, O2
YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

Well, if you haven't stocked up for the next war by now, you probably should very soon.
