I just put the items back in the cart and deal with it at home if I don?t have anything else. I guess if you are walking then you have no choice. For me it?s just more work, I stocked up on the plastic bags before the end of the year to use for other uses.

Produce bags are exempt, or you can find someone stocking and ask for a box - Walmart reuses theirs but the grocery stores do not.

Wonder if this also applies to the billions of plastic bags used for "to go" or pickup food orders at restaurants.

Yes. Bags at any business are being phased out.

Does anyone remember a very long time ago? In Denver stores they were prohibiting reusable bags because of the Rona.

I decline bags if I dont need one, but i'm not a fan of this nonsense. On the other side of this, they just legislated a huge shrinkage of an industry. Imagine if they banned rubber bands, or plastic tape. Back to string, I guess?

Ahh self checkout, I never received the training class so I?m bad and miss things from time to time. They really should fire me as a clerk but oh well.

So if you go to Taco Bell and order 15 tacos they are literally going to hand you 15 tacos one by one?

Would really like to see the names and party affiliations of those that pushed this crap through.

Maybe we will see them using big ass clunky boxes instead of bags. Same with restaurant take out. Re use the big boxes their kitchen and restaurant supplies come in.

I should've taken a picture of the sign, but Target had a sign to the effect that it was a .10c plastic bag fee, or a ".5c discount" if you used your own.

So they are charging customers even when customers use their own "reusable" bags.

PS: It's rare that I'm in a Target.
