All of these will be signed into law, there is nothing to stop them now. I'm surprised they didn't add the assault weapons ban in there too.
    Don't be stupid!!!!!

And 90% of Colorado gun owners will have no clue about the new restrictions until they get hemmed-up by them. Sorry to keep harping on the age bill, but the vast majority of young adults who purchase and possess firearms are responsible citizens who do not engage in criminal conduct. However, their rights mean nothing to the Progressives cabal, who actually hold the hood rat or mental defective in higher esteem, because society has "failed them".

This part spooks me more than a waiting period or increasing the age to 21.

Not sure how many gun store owners would even want to stay in business knowing they could be held liable for what someone does with a product that they legally sold. And how many manufacturers will just decide that they won?t ship their products to Colorado to avoid dealing with the nonsense in the state?

If this sticks and suddenly manufacturers and sellers can be held liable for how someone else uses the product then where does it stop? Will Jeep be sued in Colorado because a drunk driver was using their product and killed a family of four in an accident?

    That is an interesting question.

If there is case law showing the manufacturer and seller, who complied with all laws, are responsible for the criminal acts of another person who used their product, can case law be used against another product or type of product.

But the intent is to make the risk so high, no one will sell guns in CO.

What other current products have such legal exposure for lawful manufacturers and dealers? I can't think of anything. Manufacturers putting known defective products market is a different discussion.

My guess is it won't "stop" until all industries/products that are on the Progressive hit list are impacted- guns, ICE vehicles, certain appliances, media content, etc.

I?d love for this liability law to get applied to the politicians making bad laws. Hey your law causes this, pay up sucka. But we all know one law for them and another for us.

Does this mean we will be able to sue car manufacturers if we are in an accident?

They hold them in higher esteem because they are easier to control. This is not about safety or "if it saves one life, isn't it worth it?". It is about control.

I'll sue J.A. Henckels because I cut my finger cutting onions. And Toro because their mower kicked up a rock and broke a window.

Lawmakers are almost all lawyers. Most lobbyists are lawyers. More laws mean more lawsuits which mean they all make more money.
