They have been riding the wave of bandwagoneering since the last WS. I understand it's a business and they are trying to make money but they have shown a consistent pattern of fielding a mediocre team for the sake of saving a buck. They could easily be the powerhouse of the NL West right now but do what they are good at, being just good enough to maybe scrape out a wild card spot and keep that money rolling in.
