Wondering if I do this will I be impacted by the new tag laws just passed. Considering this only because I may not be able to renew my plates
due to emissions on a 39 year old Jeep.
Not sure how much time you have left; but if your vehicle passes emissions and you just get hassled by the testers, then make sure you do one of the rapid-screen drive through stations on the road 60 or so days before your tags expire. You can look up the schedule here https://aircarecolorado.com/ Otherwise, register it with at a family member or friends address outside the metro area.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Solid advice. I'm doing it next time I need to smog my 93 5.0. They struggled with the shifting and drove it for 10, had to restart the IM240 machine drove it another 20 minutes. The fuel gauge moved more than you think.

I heard a rumor that you need to either install a centrifugal supercharger or nitrous to get those fox bodies to pass emissions….
