    To the moon!

Which is someplace I have always wanted to ride a CR500. Ripping craters, jumping hundreds of feet and when I crash (which I always do) the landings would be pillow soft.

And Popcorn wouldn't have to worry about storms or their associated noise.

Sounds ideal, except for the commute.

And to keep it gun related, imagine how flat shooting every gun would be. You could blast those pesky aliens at 6000 yards with minimal drop or loss of velocity.

But there's that whole "lack of air" thing, not to mention food, water, booze, etc. But - no Democrats or criminals either.....

The Vetriscience worked for half a summer several years ago but now she associates the smell with thunderstorms and won't eat them.
The thundershirt does nothing for thunder, although it makes a nice jacket for playing in the snow.
    Never tried CBD.

I guess I could move somewhere there is never thunder or rain but the only place I can think of is Antarctica is that is too long of a commute.
My sister lives in Seattle, she says she has only heard thunder once or twice in the last 10 years.. But then you’d be in Seattle.

Cap gun and a bag of treats? Either you cure them of loud sound aversion, or you stop them begging for treats?

It's a long shot but when I groomed dogs in another life, many of them were terrified of the noise of the dryer. So I would take cottonballs and stuff them carefully in the dogs' ear canals. Not so deep that I couldn't pull them out, but deep enough that they couldn't shake their heads and reove them.

It seemed to muffle the noise just enough that it would be easier to keep them calm.

Tornado watch is not the way I wanted to spend the evening. Working on third and closest warning now.

This storm is dropping more than 40 lightning strikes per minute.

At least the lightning helps illuminate any possible funnels.

This late in the evening makes it that much worse, too. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that it dissipates quickly, without damaging anything!
