Only confront criminals with overwhelming force and be prepared to use it and suffer the consequences.

Notify police of any confrontation involving a crime.

And what kid and ron said above.

If you're unarmed, you are a victim.

Something fishy about this. You wouldn't think a perp would circle back and shoot up the house.

I agree, call the police and stay put. No scooter is worth getting shot.

You will become a victim if you live in or frequent Aurora, just give it time.

    Denver is the new Chicago.

    Parker is the new Aurora.

Chasing down bad guys is a bad idea, as we have seen several times recently.

Chasing down bad guys that know where you live is a worse idea.

I understand the anger with theft. I have had several cars broken into and had the catalytic converter stolen from under my Tacoma.

What I do not understand is chasing the thieves. Unless you intend to kill them, what is the reasoning? Give them a good talking to? Beat them up?

If you are going to kill them, do it on your property. You will likely do some time but pursuing them through the street escalates things to the point of this- they come back and kill you.

They could have burned down his house and taken everyone in it.

There are far too many young men raised with no sense of civility or remorse or humanity. Couple that with rampant drug addiction and it is a frightening recipe for the future.

I like my surveillance cameras. They have fairly high quality video and record sound. They also provide bright light. Ring.com makes them. I'm gonna add some more. If forced to go out and fight, whatever army infantry uses.

What would "force" you to go out and fight?
