To go along with Colorado democrats appointing a confirmed Marxist to the statehouse we now have a pile of garbage teacher kicking a 12 year old out of school for a Gadsden patch.

The staffer claims that the patch was 'disruptive to the classroom environment,' as she claimed it has 'origins with slavery.'
He was told that the patch, which has 'Don't Tread on Me' emblazoned on it along with a rattlesnake, was against the district's policy and he was not allowed to go back to class without removing it.
The pupil was told by the administrator: 'So the reason that they do not want the flag ? the reason we do not want the flag displayed ? is due to its origins with slavery, and the slave trade

Polis's response is the only thing he's ever done that I have been happy with. Good for him.

As for the school, they're acting like it was no big deal. That they just "pulled him aside" until they figured out what to do.

They pulled him out, multiple times over multiple days and instructed him not to come back to school with it. The school's director of operations supported it. At a Classical school. The dude sent all sorts of links to the mom in an email trying to support their claims the flag is racist.

Now they say they were just following district policy. BS.

The kid needs a public apology and the school's staff that was involved needs mandatory American History training given by a non-commie organization.
