Being from TX and now AZ, I have a soft spot for the border towns. It sucks that they have to deal with this stupidity.

saw the news story a week or so ago, where the Denver Mayor went to DC to ask/beg for more federal dollars for "the cause".
Not once did I hear the mayor ask for someone to stop the flow at the border. You know, stop the problem instead of just asking for more tax payer money to pay for the problem.
This country is zooming toward socialism at break neck speed.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.
The City of Lakewood said they were more than happy to take any illegals Denver sends their way. Truly. The council voted to support Denver's excess illegals.
Lovely- Your neighborhood elementary school gets closed due to "consolidation" and BOOM, now it's an illegal alien housing complex filled with foreign military age males who want to explore the area, or explore your 13 year old daughter.

The residents of Denver voted for these dipshits, so let them suffer. Maybe next time they will think before they vote. They can also suffer the taxes and fees they have to pay in order to pay for the "migrants". Toss in the homeless as well. Oh, also don't forget that Denver is diverting funds from other programs in order to house and help the migrants. You vote, you suffer. Sorry for any people on this forum that have to pay the Denver taxes, fees, and the other bullshit.
