This is what weaponized migration looks like.

IIRC, we had about 5000 arrive, on chartered busses, under cover of darkness, within a week, just prior to a blizzard... in addition to the 30,000+ who arrived throughout 2023.

Most of them behave very well, but all our support systems are totally overwhelmed by this and it's a real crisis. The only viable solution is to give them bus tickets somewhere else.

Those mobs of squeegie guys running out into rush hour traffic needs to be dealt with more seriously, and we've been seeing Ring videos of a lot of apparent migrants stealing packages and bicycles. Heard at least a dozen cases of migrant males ringing doorbells well after dark using some ruse like, "I found your cellphone" or "there's a fire in your backyard" hoping that'll get the occupant to open the door. Been seeing groups of intoxicated male migrants acting out aggressively all over Downtown and Cap Hill... and very few of them speak a word of English. By this Summer we expect to see them form gangs. It's been crazy here.

It's basically a felony with automatic minimum of three years in prison for anyone other than a police officer to carry a gun in NYC... nearly impossible to obtain a carry permit there, and they do not recognize very difficult to obtain carry permits from upstate New York.

    Everyone carries guns in Denver.

^This is a serious issue. They are rather passive now. But in other cities (in California) they are extremely aggressive. They don't take no for an answer, wash your windshield anyway then demand payment, yelling and hitting cars until they get it. I bet we see that behavior here soon.

Pepper spray to the face is a good way to say "NO" if they are being aggressive

Time to turn one of Kurt Russell's classic movies into a trilogy. We had "Escape from New York" and "Escape from L.A.". Now we can wall off Denver and send Snake Plissken in.

Better try it through a semi closed window, before doing it. That stuff has a bad habit of coming back at you, when least expected.

Best way is to use the inert training stuff, really "opens ones eyes"

    Very true.

With the really strong stuff (e.g. bear spray), even being outside and upwind in ideal circumstance the stuff is MAGIC at violating physics and making everyone suffer it's existence.

I was at the Golden Home Depot picking up some concrete. Loading it into my truck I was mobbed by about 15 of them. Super aggressive and wasn't willing to take no for an answer. They climbed up into the bed of my work truck and broke half the bags of concrete they loaded. The entire time I'm say no get the fuck out of my truck. Then wanted payment for helping to load. Really got mad when I wouldn't give them any cash for making a fucking mess in the back of my truck.
What got me was the no English.
When I said what I could in Spanish and I got no Espa?ol.
What did these guys speak Arabic
