Anyone labelling this ‘racist’ doesn’t understand history, politics, satire or the blending of those. It is about as intellectually sophisticated as people complaining about the word “niggardly”.

Now maybe I am niggardly handing out points for understanding this. Yes, it is provocative. But if said “Whites to the back of the bus”, it probably wouldn’t have made the news. If we had truly educated reporters, they would report on the nuance behind the message and let people decide. Even better, if we had an educated electorate, they would see that with out being told.

If you don’t get the allusion to the back of the bus, maybe you belong on a short bus.

Me, I hate public transportation.
But the sign doesn't say that, does it? No. It says:

It's not "provocative" and saying I "don't understand history" because I call it what it is (racism) is the definition of irony. (Since others seemed to struggle with the definition of that word earlier)

Anyone who thinks that anything associated with that sign is funny doesn't understand history.
