I've had eight shoulder surgeries altogether. Two labrum repairs, four rotator cuff repairs, one anatomical replacement and one reverse replacement.

If it's on the shoulder surgery menu, I've had it.

Now back to full range of motion and swinging a fly rod again....which was the cause of at least a few of the trips to the knife table.

    F me.

FWIW, I Dove hunted this week and had zero issues. Still working on recovering weight bearing, but ROM is nearly back to 100% or as close as I'll ever get.

That said, my knees are probably next, and suddenly my left hip is giving me trouble.

Hip - does it hurt like in front, near the groin, and deep inside? Or does it hurt on the side about where your hand/wrist would touch? If it's on the side, it might be bursitis. I get that often and all it needs is a cortisone injection. I've had several of those and it clears that inflammation right up for many months.Click image for larger version.

Side and (feels) deep, so probably the latter.

I'll bring it up with my Ortho when I go in for my eleventieth bi-annual knee injections next month.
