I know that you were just pointing out the body of the 10 ton elephant we're all walking around, but it sounds like the woman who got shot got exactly what she came looking for. My take is that she had planned to do harm (i.e. KILL) her ex-boyfriend and would have more than likely killed the other woman as well.

If you go looking for trouble, you can usually find it.

Yes, I'm saddened than a human life had to be lost, but having someone willing to initiate a violent confrontation - with a firearm - walking free on the streets doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. The fact that she died is, sadly, probably for the best for our entire community.

Are both of the women dead? Or are they talking about arresting the shooter and referring to him as Mr. Neither? Poorly worded story I'm thinking. Or am I just missing something?

Haha, I think Ginsue has it right. I believe that the ex-girlfriend broke into the apartment, and was shot by the ex-boyfried. It sounds like the ex-boyfriend had a female guest of his own in the apartment.
