Default Idea or Stupid? (pulling threads, etc)

I was perusing the "for sale" section and there are a ton of threads that have sold or retracted, etc. Is there a way to delete the threads once the item is sold or retracted? Or am I just doing it wrong... poll in-bound.

I delete my ads when the item is sold. Just delete the first post and the thread is gone.

In many forums, they forbid you to edit the OP once the item is sold - for record and in case of dispute later on. But I voted for....

Ha, very slow day with the weather here... I have yet to have a single customer.... So I'm scanning files and whatnot, but have plenty of time to troll around.

I delete mine when sold. I think this is a cool feature. Personally, I think Big Bear shouldn't have to worry about this and spend more time eating pie.

I think its working. The current page tends to be new listings or ones for asale bumped up. If you go to old ads you might find sold items.

I don't think the argument of use as reference works out. There just aren't enough items and keeping everything would make searching hard. I just go to Gunbroker and look at the last 90 days. Prices items actually sold at is the data point.
