    They have a couple goofy light mounts like StagLefty posted but they do have one titled "P99 Blast 2 Combination flashlight & laser" that looks pretty cool (but pricey...I bet you can find it cheaper elsewhere)

    Also if you can find one, look for Umarex P99 Rail Adapter.

    Even more rare is the Walther Rail Adapter (here's one that I don't think is still for sale).

    Thanks but these are some of the same deadends I ran into-I think I may be looking for something that isn't available.

    I'm pretty sure Viridian makes one. They're not very cheap either.

    That's part of the problem-gun performs and fits great. I've had it and trained with it for several years. I can always use the handheld system. I just thought there might be a light system available. Thanks for all the input folks.

    Well lo and behold I just found the Walther forum and this exact search for a light or adapter has been going on for awhile over there. They are actually trying to get Walther to offer something to 1st generation Walther P99 owners to remedy this.
