Default Wish we had a Car/Truck dealer like this! **FREE AK-47**

    http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpp/news...et-AK-47-rifle
I think this is a great concept for marketing but you will always have your nay sayers...even this Vietnam Vet doesn't like this idea.

Ginetta told me they're doing this as a salute to veterans, but maybe they should have asked a guy next door at the VFW hall. "Them guys next door that are giving away AK-47. I was shot 14 times by that rifle. It's a hell of a rifle. Kills a lot of people. They've got no business giving those rifles away."

if I was in the market for a truck, the price was good and the rifle wasn't crap, this would be a sure fire way to get me to buy.

    I think it's great.

People who would be upset about this are just ignorant. The motor vehicle kills more people by far than the firearm.

I'm not sure if this is the same guy I saw a couple of years ago doing this or not but I think it's a grand idea.

As has been said, there will always be naysayers to anything. If the guy were giving away free turkeys or hams you'd be hearing about PETA or the Humane Society of the United States (they're a militant pro-animal/anti-human org and not actually affiliated with any real Humane Societies) picketing the dealership.

Also they aren't breaking any rules. You still have to go through the process of the background check at the store.

I don't know if I would by a $25K vehicle just for a $400 rifle. Just go to the store and by the rifle instead.

Gawd Damn shot 14 times by an AK and still around. Part he didn't tell was after the gun was empty he continued walking towards the enemy bleeding from 28 holes in his body. He pulled rifle from VC trembling hands and beat him to death with it. Not good for killin, but they do make a handy club

Shot 14 times with an AK and he's still around to get up on a soapbox and tell us we shouldn't be able to own dangerous things? Hmmm, sounds like they're not so dangerous after all!

That's a terrific idea. However, I think a good compromise would be to offer an AR for the pricier vehicles...
