Well since we're showing off CASV-EL rails, here's mine. Just added the optic (DMS-1) today when the Primary Arms mount arrived. Also just added the AFG and the ASP to it. Other than that, it's a Stag upper on a Bushmaster lower.

CASV-EL, Troy rear BUIS, PRI flip up BUIS gas block that fits in the CASV like it was made for it, TLR-1 light, Phantom FH, unknmfg ergo grip, Vickers padded sling with HK clips, milspec tube and CTR, heavy buffer and enhanced flat buffer spring, two stage trigger, ambi safety and last but not least.. custom rattle can (aka Krylon) cammo job done a few years ago, wear is starting to show, might be due for a touch up this spring.

The lower is going on 14 years old, just did the springs on it again last year. Use to be my favorite too, then I got a piston gun.. always wanted to convert this one to piston, guess I'll be talking to RAR about that next year as well.

Default R.A.R. Plum Crazy group buy

Here is a picture (I hope) of my Plum Crazy lower from the group buy R.A.R. Guns did for us. I have a AR57 upper on it.

The Plum Crazy lower weights 1 lb 10.8 oz. A Bushmaster lower in the same condition weights 2 lb. 2.4 oz. That is 7.6 ounces (.47 lb.) difference.

I have found one thing I don't like on it. The safety can be put in the safe position without the hammer being cocked. In this condition the hammer won't move so you can't cycle the bolt. I'll get used to it.

So far I am impressed by it. I can't wait to get some trigger time.

Thanks to R.A.R. Guns for the group buy.

The next time R.A.R. Guns does a bulk buy I'd definitely be interested in hearing the details (If the costs ar elow enough, I might like to get in on it!).

My son and I are going to build him his first AR. We're going to build a fairly cheap AR first with the idea that he can upgrade parts later. (He REALLY wants a Magpul PRS on it eventually, but...)

Well, here is a pic of the first groups of parts my son and I bought to get us to the goal of a completed AR.

What we've got is an RGuns stripped lower, Castle Nut, Buffer Spring, Commercial Buffer Tube, Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard, and a Magpul Ambi Sling Attachment Point (ASAP). Somehow the Buffer didn't make it into the bag @ the store - will have to give Bravo Arms a call to find out about that.

Next payday we'll pick up an LPK and stock. Then save up for a couple of months to get a complete upper.

    Default My 3 little friends...

Here are 3 of my little guys... A MK23, 1911, and my M&P, all in 45. The case is one of my favorite parts. I made it out of an old dewalt sawzall case, used construction grade hard foam that I cut out the exact shape of the guns in, and glued black silk to it. The top white foam is jut normal stuff from walmart. Nice discreet little case.

Just for you Stuart! Stealth Mode! My favorite gun out of the case, my wifes new PK380 as of today, and my CQB rifle with my new Troy flip up on the back.

She doesn't like the 45's so she got herself a 380, aren't they... cute?
