While the monetary costs are huge the real costs come in the human lives that illegals have taken.

With the looper as governor I expect more citizens to perish with greater frequency.

Aside from backhoes, cars, and trucks.

They'd have to estimate the shoplifting, stealing from other drug dealers, welfare fraud, insurance fraud, social security fraud, using food stamps to buy non-food stamp items, etc.

Illegal immigrants cost Colorado taxpayers as much as $1.5 billion a year, put downward pressure on wages and hurt employers that comply with the law.
That, at least, was the view presented today by advocates for stronger immigration laws at a summit held by the Republican Study Committee of Colorado, a group representing the most conservative GOP lawmakers.

The Federal Government has failed us, time for the states to do the job.

Its a little more specific but not as up to date as the per-state costs listed in the 2010 national report. I've linked to it here before but it was a while ago.

2 illegals wiped out two sections of my fence, and a flag pole. Thankfully they were driving an insured vehicle, but it wasn't theirs. I'm still waiting on their .10 insurance company to make me whole. Currently their offer is about $300 short of what it will take to fix all the damage they did. I'm out my time at home and work dealing with this crap because they are here illegal. (from honduras not mexico)

I find some truth in this costing americans money.
