Thank you CDOT. Thanks Bert for the reminder that there is alot more to plowing than just sticking a blade on the pavement and flooring the gas pedal.
I saw people driving on the right side of 2 plows on Wadsworth yesterday, they got a windshield full too. I stay back from plows and moreso when they are dropping gravel.
I went to the commissary yesterday, forgetting that it's payday, so after I stitched up my knife wounds, I also got to play Texas Dumb Ones with the 3mph shuffle on the way home. Also saw some genius in a silver car with no head lights on. Damn near invisible.![]()
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Haw haw haw?..
Out here in unincorporated Boulder County, we are lucky to see plows. Considering our annual registration was raised, (according to Bill Ritter) to cover cost of maintainance, I am feeling a bit ripped off. We rarely see a plow.
One of the few days I'm glad I'm unemployed. You guys stay safe on the roads today too, still looks slick out there. Please abide by the new rules and include Stuart in your posts![]()
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
Been home for 2 days. 3" on the ground -10F sitting in a patch of sunshine, grey on the horizon. Plow just did my street (thank you and God Bless Teller County), hot tub is ready for the New Year!
Happy New Year!

I'm one with my flashers on! (briefly) I was out at lunch yesterday driving around downtown, roads were nothing but ICE, people kept sliding through intersections and hitting the cross traffic. I put on the blinkers a couple times to warn the a-holes coming up behind me that it was slick! Stupid people. I didn't want to be hit and pushed into the cross traffic.
