Well I have an iron sighted .22lr. I don't think it fires fast enough to set off Tanerite though.

Neg, .22lr does not have enough velocity to set off the reaction needed for the Tannerite. Small caliber/rimfire or slow moving pistol calibers will not set it off. Better to stick with .223/5.56 and higher.

BTW, if you have your appropiate liscnces, (NOT PD letterhead, etc). I can point you in the direction for some plastic (C4 and other grades) and det cords, pyrotechnics, etc.

Just make sure to tell your wife about the rifle fairy you know, since everyone knows the mothers are always the tooth fairy's.
