    I don't remember what it's called but I do remember it was a flat piece of steel that had a right angle. Not expensive to replace, I just chalked it up to a weak link to a nice rifle.

    Hmm, not sure I would let that sour you on the rifle. Hell, I've broke parts in glocks, 1911's, ARs... shit breaks when used. Hell, I've even broken parts on Uzis.

    My kids and I shoot the hell out of an 1906 Winchester gallery gun. Short, long, longrifle. Never a problem. Check pawnshops, I found this one for $150 at a shitty P-Shop off of Federal a few years back.

    Good advise, but I wouldn't plan on shooting too many longs. I haven't even seen longs in the last 35-40 years. Does anyone know if they're still being produced?
