At my last job someone keyed my car because I parked to close. They were over the line and I squeezed in.

That's why I drive a crappy car. I don't care if it gets scratched, lol. I'll squeeze in too.
I drive rentals pretty often. One of the last was the "Queer as a football bat" Cube. I'm backing out of a parking place when I see the wind has blown a cart and it's heading for someones car. I throw it in park, jump out, and catch the cart.
Then realize the POS car had some kind of auto lock thing and has locked me out. $70 later and my good Samaritan self is back in the rental driving home.
No good deed......
Late to the party but I think this is a cool story to share.
we took turns carpooling downtown, we would park on a the street that was not metered so it filled up fast, one day my friend was driving his jeep and we parked on the end, just enough room for a jeep to park and give the guy behind him room to get out. so a jackwagon comes and parks this little pos in front of us, backs right up to our bumper and the pos is sticking out past the stop sign, (parked illegally) we had no room to get out since the car behind us left and another came and boxed us in.
he droped the jeep into 4low and just pushed that pos that was in front of us out into the intersection, we had plenty of room to get out after that.
I wonder what that turd thought when he came back and his car was out in the road or if it was even maybe towed.
2 times i have saw people cart slam or door ding my truck, and they saw me see them both times, they said nothing but had a worried look, i just let it go as their was no damage.
i think people are attracted to the cars that park out by themselves, like the car is the sheperd and they have to flock to it by design.
I have had to climb though the passanger side to get in my truck due to jackwagons in the past, people are just stupid.

Nice. I spent about 20 months living in San Francisco (glad that's over) and couldn't count the times that I saw someone simply repeatedly bump the cars in front and in back of them while parallel parking in order to make the spot "bigger"...maybe the guy in front on you was from California and just expected you'd do that?!?! Nah, I'm sure he was just a tool.
Well said. People are most definitely sheep.
Just wanted to let you guys know that when I went to Walmart today, I put my cart back.![]()

A relative of mine is the manager at a Lowes, and the local speed enforcement officers use his parking lot to radar folks on the road out front. It's pretty common for them to clock runaway carts at 40 MPH when the wind gets them moving.
A Lowes cart @ 40 does some pretty major damage![]()
