Default IWB, trying to keep it put

Any thoughts to keeping these from trying to pull your pants down just a bit. Tighter belt, uncomfortable (need an infinite adjustable belt to try I think) But even with a sub 2lb'r in there, just try's to tug down a little.

Also, sweating against the leather. Thoughts of moleskin, and non-smooth leather against the skid are both thoughts on this.

Anyone have things theyve tried that work well?

Wear a wife beater T shirt between your body and holster for the sweating issue. And get a stiff belt designed for holster carry to help with the droopy drawers problem.

I'm still messing with my IWB solutions. Ruger LCR, $10 cheapo IWB from the gunshow has been working well for me, around a year or so now. I recently purchased a Galco IWB for the same weapon, but I haven't made a decision on it yet, still trying to break in the good leather to make it wear correctly.

I just up-sized my jeans and belt so I can try to carry my Sig P228 IWB more effectively, but still have issues with the larger gun as you are describing. I usually wear the belt pretty tight, and holster is at 5 o clock right hip.

I'll try one of the cross breed super tucks some day, people seem to like them.

way off the wall though, but spray on benzoin (sp?) works great for the sweat issue. Its what rodeo guys use on gloves to stiffen them. Kinda nice for a holster because it will waterproof it, and also will form to your hip like play dough. you can get it at most ranch supply stores. Just an out there thought that worked for me, thought I would pass it along

If your pants are pulling down, then they are probably too loose.

1" tighter, pretty uncomfortable, and fairly difficult to pull from holster.

    MTAC holster, its broken in.

Undershirt works well, warmer weather on its way, 2 shirts, not going to work for me. Right now its great, warm weather, not so much.

Ive thought of moleskin stuck to the holster, old t-shirt or jean chunk sewn to it as well. Moleskin seems lowest maintaince. Likely just change it every few months Id guess.

I've rusted my gun twice now from sweating through the MTAC, but I don't really find it all that uncomfortable. How long have you been carrying? Maybe I'm just used to it.

I've always worn a wife beater shirt under all my clothes through any weather. I prefer that because my wife beater gets sweaty and sticks to me, while my other clothes stay nice and dry.

A good belt goes a looooooong way. I like wilderness and aker. A little zinc in the diet might help too.

Another +1 for a dedicated gun belt.... It really does make a world of difference with pants falling down, lol.

And (I gotta ask), you ARE wearing your pants correctly right? I only ask cause I had a friend who likes to wear his baggy pants below his waistline.... It won't work while CC'ing....
