Bullet, round or cartridge?

While I occasionally substitute the last two words depending on context, the first one is something totally different. If I handed you a few 9mm bullets and you thought you could load them into that high capacity magazine and shoot them just as I gave them to you, you wouldn't be able to do it.

DAMMIT don't you know that for reloaders you screw it all up by saying stuff like that. If it is ready to fire completely assembled then it is called ammo or ammunition. What are you really talking about?

lol. As we get further and further into the working mechanics of the weapon I'm sure there a million terms for every working component. When we run out of that, we can get a scientist to argue the terminology of the element makeup of those components.

Terminology standardization with development of a bitchslap/IP protocol and everyone would be on the same page within a month or two.

If somebody calls a magazine a clip, I normally just press on. There are a ton of other things that are more important out there to worry about and get my blood pressure up over. Clips vs mags sure isnt one of them.

This, unless my evil side wants to surface.
