Yeah, all of youse's what's hurt? That's what I thought.

The MTU for the Guard is at Ft. Robinson, in Arkansas. There's a Captain down at JFHQ (Revere Street) who's the official State Marksmanship program guy. I don't remember his name, right off. I'll try to figure out who he is for you. I don't think the Army side is doing anything right now; we (ANG side) used to work with them a lot and then the guy ramrodding their program went away, and with it their program. The Captain is still the State Marksmanship Coordinator as far as I know, although the ANG side pretty much went our own way as they didn't want to support us.
Even the Air side is pretty weak right now. You'd be surprised how hard it is to get people to want to shoot free ammo with issue guns. NM M14's, NM M1A1 Garands, AFPG (AF version of NM) 1911's, M52 and 41 S&W's, M9's, M16's. Some have seen better days, but we don't get much support anymore. Not many units left that still have any sort of marksmanship program. Plus, our ops tempo has made shooting regularly rather difficult for the last few years.
We had more than Service rifle and Bullseye; but it didn't last long. Mostly because the ammo for those guns has been nil for about 5 years now.
I was the air side Marksmanship coordinator for the Wing, but I'm almost completely out of it now. I'm finishing turning it over after retiring and before leaving for the new job.

Interesting. We (my unit) can't get rounds for yearly qualifications due to budget issues, priority of some other units, but we can deploy every few years? I was unaware we had those type of firearms in our state inventory.

You are right though. the op tempo for the Colo Guard isn't making it any easier.

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Those aren't State guns, those are ANG guns. The Army does have some pretty nice NM M14's that I know of (MTU built with the bedded McMillan stocks), but I don't know specifically of anything else. Our team ammo allocation comes from the ANG; the Army Guard does have an ammo allocation but I don't know how much or of what other than some 5.56 and 9mm. They have to go get theirs up at Guernsey, I believe.

Still trying to find that guy's name for you at JFHQ, assuming he's still the State Marksmanship guy.
