"You potentially make us targets," Vandermyde said. "Or, on the inverse, you could say, 'These are the homes that don't have FOID cards so it's likely they don't have guns, so therefore they make better targets.'"

The state police made the same argument, but the attorney general dismissed it as "speculative and conclusory."
Funny demanding to know the names of people who have not committed any sort of crime isn't some how speculative and conclusory.

EDIT: Is "Conclusory" even a word? Troubleco?

    con·clu·so·ry (kn-kls-r)
    adj. 1. Conclusive.
    2. Law Convincing, but not so much so that contradiction is impossible; not justified or supported by all the facts:

Fair's fair: Post the home addresses, phone numbers, and social security numbers of state legislators, along with their schedules.

THIS is the largest argument against any kind of registration for guns or their owners; some jackhole politician will decide that the rights of the peeeeple to "know" is more important than our right to privacy or security.

Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?

More realistically, any elected officials should have every year of taxes they've ever paid, every loan, basically their entire credit history as public record. Those that they govern, have a direct interest in knowing how well those elected officials handle their own personal finances.

With time, these states will just spread their sickness to the rest of the country. Daily at work I see customers and I am amazed how many are newbies to Colorado. Today- 5 in a row, all from Kalifornia, looking for work, and uninsured. What gives?

It's sad because some of those states have awesome history during the formation of our great nation

Each house should have to have a yard sign. "This homeowner has firearms" "this homeowner does not own firearms". See how fast the rest of the population of IL gets rid of her sorry ass
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
