The humane society is going after the shooter which is b.s. We really need to back this guy. I feel my GSD is a member of my family and is treated as such. If another dog was tearing into him I wouldn't hesitate to shoot it. I don't understand what is more in-humane shooting the dog or letting the other tear the grey hound to shreds. The Humane society needs a reality check here and we need to give it to them. I'm looking for a number to call or an email to respond to on this matter.

Agreed...leave a 2 year old in a car in the summer, no one calls the police, leave a dog in a car in the summer, calls fill up a computer screen...what is it with people?
