    Default custom 1911 work

I have a colt 1911 that I want some work done on. I am looking for a specialized 1911 guy to do the work. Any recommendations out there?

I've had several done by Hero-Gear in Winchester TN. Their 1911 guy is one of the best kept secrets in the industry. He under prices his work, which I find to be another plus.

He also custom builds the "Hero Gear" 1911. A pistol that can compete toe-to-toe with the likes of Wilson, Baer, Nighthawk, for a fraction of the cost. Oh, and pick up a Hero Battle Mug, while you're at it. You'll be the talk of your next tall gate adventure...

Steve Moore in Denver is one of the more respected 1911 pistol smiths in Colorado. Does a lot of the custom work for the local USPSA scene.
