How to get banned... ten easy steps... (may only take one!)

1. Send poorly written hatemail to admins
2. Type excessively in ALL CAPS on a forum until an admin blocks you for "yelling".

5. Write long political rants or complaints on every page you visit.
6. Link every word in a post to your for sale ads.
7. Create threads with titles like "(Admin name) IS A (expletive)" and "(Admin name) LICKS (expletive) FOR CASH", but that contain glowing praise about the admin in question.
8. Advise an admin on how to do their job, especially if they've been an admin longer than you've been a user.
9. Complain to an admin that s/he's stupid (a coward, a jerkass, a dick, etc.), and is ruining your fun, is wrecking your style, or otherwise "has no right" to do whatever it is that they did.
10. Annoy an admin until he/she decides to ban you.

A PM to me tonight containing the items in red got a member suspended for a week. Especially since it was in response to my request that he meet site rules. So, for failing to meet site rules and poking me hard with a sharpened bayonet got him a week suspension (I was feeling generous - failure to meet site rules is supposed to be an automatic 2 week suspension). I'm not giving out any more details but I will say that your mods/admins work hard to ensure this site is all it can be for you. Failing to comply with the few site rules we have and then getting nasty with a mod/admin is uncalled for and can easily be expected to have negative results.

My take on the multiple accounts thing is that it is ultimately deceptive. The question then begs to be asked WHY the member is being deceptive.I don't wait for an answer to that question being taking action. It's just wrong.
