So you keep the mag in the leatherman case, and just keep the leatherman in your pocket?

yeah, may not make much sense but I'd rather have the leatherman wandering in my pockets and know exactly where the mag is

No, it makes perfect sense. Just wondering. I've considered wearing a cell/leatherman pouch on my belt and putting my mag in it. However, where I work, I KNOW that I'd be asked to show either a cell (coworkers) or leatherman (management) at some point. So it goes in the pocket for me.

Thats a great way to carry extra ammo. However, the fit can be a bit snug with double stacks though.

I'll play the troll here... In most every EDC thread I have seen on various forums they all raise some BS flags to me. Guns have no holster wear, leather holsters that havent even been broken in, Crossbreed type holsters with no salt stains, kydex without a scratch on it, belts that have no "buckle crease", knives that are clean with perfect unmarred (most appear to have never even been re-sharpened)blades, handles of knives not packed full of lint and other pocket junk, etc.

    Kidding, I Dropped it.

    The Belt is almost new
as for the rest of your call, I try to take care of my shit. Its all I can do to afford it the first time, who has money to replace it due to negligence?
Note: They do make leather oil that will resist sweat(Mink Oil?) + Undershirts/T-Shirts = Less sweat stain

That looks more like true EDC than most seen in this thread.

Rust on an M&P? How without complete neglect?

that was covered in a thread a long time ago...

Most peoples daily carry photos are from a distance back... thus removing the nicks, scuffs etc.
Its also possible that they are like me and clean, Redye Holsters and Weapons
I know if the finish on the XD Started to go I would find the money to get it taken care of.
The knife tip bothers me but for the most part its still functional. I will get another one someday.

The original poster of that picture already posted the link for the thread covering his rust issue, but in case you didn't see it, I will post it again.

stainLESS finishes are not impervious to rust, and any number of different things can cause a persons firearm to rust like that, including defect from the factory.
