this is why I suggested asking a neighbor if you can use their wireless, tell them your situation and ask them for permisson and the wireless key. Couldn't hurt, unless the neighbors are crappy.
Actually I was only discussing the ignorance of most people in setting up their networks and inherent vulnerabilities in wireless communications.
