If I were smrt on forums and such I would do multiple quotes, or perhaps I'm just too lazy to do it.

Kids on the Forum: My family sees me surfing this site most of the time, the wife reads some items if I point them out. The children catch glimpses of photos, firearms and related, I'll show them items of interest or for helping train them if I see it. I'm sure there are some actually signed up on the forum. The wife had seen me browsing through the photo thread, just laughed at me and went on her way. I personally wasn't amused at that one photo, and am glad it was taken down. I didn't think that thread would last.

I pulled the thread up at work and showed a couple of my buddies. There is no way I would have opened it at home with my kids right there. That kind if thread is just not needed.

After reading this thread and realizing how many kids and women might be on here, I've decided to clean up my langauge in here from now on. I think I can express myself without cursing, at least I can try. It doesn't mean I have to be a saint or anything but I'm going to watch my langauge.

Ginsue, I agree with you 100%. I glanced at that thread but never posted in it cause it's a bit juvinal. I have better sights for my jollys (pm me if you want it). My direction was that it was going in the direction of the Internet parenting kids rather than parents. Let's face it kids know of the aforementioned website as much as adults. This site defiantly needs more kids to learn not only of a fabulous hobby but the rights that come with it. At the same time I also like to think of this site as a place where me and my cyber friends can hang out, and maybe tell a dirty joke or two.

To say that someone might get offended by those images will open the door to every single complaint ever. Maybe we have some avid gun owners that truly support Obama and don't take kindly to to us bad mouthing their commander in Cheif. Or some immerigants that believe everyone in this country has a right to be here.

My point is that no one will ever be pleased. To say scantly clad women is offenseive is dumb I've seen worse at the pool.

The image in question though as I stated before is in bad taste cause it violates every gun safety/rule/guideline/common sense ever written. That I will have to take not nessarly offense but anger for being so carless with firearms.

I really like this site but I dot want it to turn into ar15.com or the CMP forum.

So with that go wings. And long live the queen.

I missed the thread in question and did not see that pic, but if it is true that some imbecile posted a pic of a woman with the barrel of a handgun in her mouth, here on a forum dedicated to gun safety and populated with many individuals who have seen the end result of that sort of activity, they should be permabanned for that bullshit. I can understand very well why Marlin flipped out over that. Scantily clad women or tasteful nudes might be considered "inappropriate" for what some consider to be a family forum, but girl with a gun in her mouth? That shit belongs on 4chan and other internet troll imageboards. Fuck whoever posted that shit! Not funny, not cool, and you're an asshole.
