for the life of my I have never been able to figure this out, So I come to this forum of my peers for insight.

How is it that a former Secret service officer that took the job of protecting a president against any and all assassination attempts, in doing the job he was paid for, has become a martyr against Legal gun ownership and self defense?

Some days I wish that dumb-ass Hinckley had used a Hyundai instead.

I've seen it said he was a Secret Service Agent before myself.
But he never was.

The other person injured in the attack ( other then Reagan of course) was a DC cop.
