I was in this when I lived in AZ. It's basically an auxiliary police force, very well trained and very well organized. We went through the same handgun training that sworn officers received . . . 115 hours.

LOL, yeah, I don't have to tell anyone here how ridiculous that machine gun statement was. You had to qualify with whatever weapon you were going to carry. The closest I got to a machine gun was qualifying with my AR-15. I miss it there sometimes!
