This right here is why I Hesitate at joining the local clubs.
One person says its OK, then someone else gets in your kool-aide about the very same thing ten minutes later.
I have "guested" at several clubs as well as a few of the public ranges that do this or they hem-haw at certain rules or requirements.

"Well I let my Brother Earl do dat 'cuz he's married t' our sister Betty-Jo, but only if'n he had less'n a 12 pack."

    WTF?

If I could convince a certain place WAAAAAAAAAY out east to move closer....

when I was there, the rule was (and most indoor ranges are this way), draw from holster is ok after they have seen you do it to make sure you are safe. i.e. marked in your file that it's ok.

    doesn't seem unreasonable.

Front Range is a great place to shoot. Clean, modern, everything works, friendly staff. I can't quote you the rulebook, but I believe holster work is no issue when you show that you are competent and not just trying to be a cowboy. I've seen plenty of people drawing quick and fast from their holsters at that range. I probably go there about once a month.

So since I just whipped in to Trigger time to look at something and left going I will never be back. I thought I would praise these guys

I live 4 miles from Trigger Time and yes FRGC is much more affordable but they are so much friendlier. They have and make the time to answer questions, BS, help you out etc etc. I have never walked out of FRGC anything but happy. I drive 25 miles each way to go there and to me it is worth it over the Trigger Time unfriendliness 4 miles from home.

Kudos to FRGC on outstanding service and a very clean safe place to shoot.

No thread on Trigger time so I will save specifics til there is, but for me

FRGC is my choice for Northern Colorado

TDYRanger and I will be at Front Range tomorrow morning after 11:30am. Going to put a few rounds thru my AK in preparation for the Kalashnikov class. Plus anything lese we can carry. We usually walk in there with a heavy load.
