    No Jim, I think you are right on the mark. But then again, I could be wrong too.

    It's because of these things that I haven't even started the process yet.

    Back in the day a few friends got FFL's so we could buy from Shotgun News. I've heard it is a huge PITA now and you have to jump through all kinds of hoops. Just saying

    Many years ago I partnered with a friend and used his address. It did get pulled a few years later du to the zoning issue, being strictly residential. It does depend on county. Douglas is loose. I know an FFL using his house and a few other businesses in residential areas.

    You are 100% correct in that if you are a FFL licensed dealer, when you buy or trade, the firearm that you give and/or the one you receive MUST be entered in the bound book. FTF deals would be a very very risky/touchy thing. Gave up my 01 FFL when they provided so damn many hoops that we had to try to jump through.
