I got mine when I just started the fed center and it was running 33's on a 4 cyl. Needless to say I was getting about 150 to the 12ga tank so I traded it and have regreted it since. The YJ just has so much more room, its perfect for a big guy.

I swear someday my CJ5 will be back together, really it will! I never should have torn it apart for restoration, I should have just tinkered with it and got it running reliably. But nooooo, gotta do a full restoration on it.......

See, it really WAS all together once, before it became a garage full of parts....

I love Jeeps. I drove a buddy's jeep and it was fun. In '06 when we got snow dumped on us, I had my Tacoma 4 cyl with 31's. Had to pull a friend out of a snow bank that I had just driven through. Nothing like making beer runs in 18" + of snow on the streets while everyone else is getting stuck or barely making it home!

I've been a Jeep fan since I got my first in high school years ago. I've had about 15 since then. This is my latest. A much worthwhile money pit, same as the guns.

Awesome truck, did you put aftermarket diff/axles on it? I keep pricing a Rubicon, but they're like 40k nicely loaded... maybe if they did the 3 year 0% again, at the rate the dollar is dropping I could let inflation pay off 10 or 20%

I have been planning on Currie 60s since I got it, unfortunately I have yet to blow a diff or break an axle. There is a lot of talk about how weak the JK axles are, but I'm more of a "finesse" driver, so I haven't destroyed anything yet. I have beat the holy living crap out of it too, from Holy Cross to Prichett Canyon in Moab. The skid plates on the other hand, well lets just say my gas tank no longer hhas the capacity that it originally had.

Come wheeling with me, I promise you'll have an excuse to throw new axles under there by the end of the day
Next trail on my list is Boulder Canyon... gonna be a fun time.

Wait, that's a lie. Next on my list is building a new rig. Then I can run Boulder Canyon.

Do yall know a guy on CO4x4, goes by trailblazer? Big black/red Scrambler-length frankenjeep.
I ain't on there just cause I don't like having to pay for memberships to websites of any kind and I know a lot of the guys in real life so there's no point.
