I have the same thought. I highly doubt the POTUS would release his own fake birth certificate. Especially one that's easily detected. This is not a hard copy either btw, its a digital copy that is available through the State of Hawaii. .

If anything, I think Obama just did us a favor by turning our focus on how a big fuck up he is on economy, military, health care, immigration and so on.

Which is also right in line with the file I attached ... whatamichoppedliver?

one explanation being given is that the scanner that scanned the document had OCR turned on ... my only problem with that is the different color of some of the text and the fact that when I've accidentally OCR scanned stuff it makes a LOT more little boxes than that ... and generally doesn't separate the text from a textured background.

-- you lose. A medium resolution digital copy is not sufficient to draw any sustainable conclusion. Take your own birth certificate (or other document with a medium background such as a check) and reproduce it and then enlarge it in the same way and you will find similar distortions.

I just scanned the title from my 1980 motorcycle. No matter how much I zoomed in, no MS Paint showed up on it.

Then you are doing it wrong.

Really people? Do you think for one minute that with all the assets at the administration's disposal they'd produce some half-assed document? It would be perfect..... too perfect....

I didn't vote for the guy. I don't particularly like him nor do I trust him and I am not in agreement with much of anything he has done. But I will allow that he is a very intelligent individual surrounded by even more intelligent people.

What you are all doing is just a repeat of 2008 (if you don't recall, see here: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2...n_the_usa.html).

The only tail that donkey Trump had of substance was to relight this issue and now that's been pinned back on his ass.

All I'm saying is that it has obviously been touched up. You can't possibly look at that link and not see that. I'm not even sure what you are disputing here.

That was my initial thought as well ... but there the document is and as another professional graphic designer with almost two decades of experience (including years and years of pre-press experience in the commercial printing industry where I troubleshot people's files 40+ hours a week) this file has clearly been altered.

That doesn't prove that he wasn't born in Hawaii or anything else, it only shows that they provided an altered image and claim it to be a scan of a single image.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see them put out an obviously altered image just to muddy the water and get us to talk about something other than Obama's record ... or the Fed holding the first press conference in history ... or the fact that the EPA has basically shut down any chance of domestic oil production anytime soon ... or one of a dozen other real problems.

Also, FactCheck.org is about as unbiased as WorldNetDaily (only in the other direction)
